Renal Failure
Renal failure refers to the losing of kidney function party or totally. The renal failure has two kinds, acute renal failure and chronic renal failure. A variety of diseases will be caused due to the losing of kidney excretion function in a short time, thus it is called acute renal failure. When the chronic renal failure developed to the final stage, it will cause a set of syndromes which is called acute renal failure. According to the extent of the damage, the renal failure has four stages:

2. Kidney function is incomplete, compensated stage.

Symptoms and Signs
1. Oliguria stage The lack of urine volume will lead to hyperglycemia, water intoxication (serious edema,high blood pressure ,pulmonary or encephaledema ). Acidosis of metabolism and acute uremia. Hyperkalemia and water intoxication are the main causes of death.
2. Polyuria stage After renal tubular epithelial cell regeneration was repaired, the urine volume will increase gradually, potassium and serum sodium will reduce. The patient continuances maybe will dead of dehydration and electrolyte disturbance.
3. Convalescence stage After the period of polyuria, urine volume becomes normal serum. Bun recatinime and construction need three to six months to recover.
