Eating fruit leads to obesity?
All people think of fruit is more nutritious. Fruits do contain a variety of vitamins, trace elements, and fiber to help digestion, which is an integral part of our balanced diet.
However, for those who are losing weight, fruit is actually a double-edged sword. Fruit still contains calories and sugar. If you do not control the fruit, it may even lead to your obesity.
The main reasons are the following two points:
First, fructose in fruits is prone to obesity.
Fruit contains more fructose, and fructose is more easily converted to synthetic fat than glucose.
Glucose can be directly absorbed into the blood circulation and participate in energy supply in various parts of the body. The main conversion site of fructose is the liver. If the liver has sufficient energy at this time, then these extra fructose will be converted into fat by the liver and stored, leading to obesity.
In addition, because fructose cannot stimulate the secretion of “leptin” like glucose, it is not easy to have a feeling of satiety, which unconsciously causes excessive eating and obesity.
Second, there are many calories in fruit.
Many friends who have a weight loss plan limit their sugar intake to 100 grams per day.
If this is the case, a banana contains about 100 calories and 27 grams of sugar, and an apple contains about 115 calories and 30 grams of sugar. Then just eating two bananas and one apple a day would take up 84% of the total sugar intake.
Many people directly ignore the fruits when calculating the daily calorie intake. If you think of them as having no calories, you will unknowingly consume more than 300 calories per day.
