Is nocturia a sign of kidney disease

The function of the kidney has a lot of relation with our health. Going to the toilet frequently during night is a common symptom of kidney disease so people may ask “Is nocturia a sign of kidney disease?”
Nowadays, even the middle aged have the same problem as the elderly people do. In this situation many people doubt if they have deficiency of the kidneys.
The doctor said that there are many other symptoms of deficiency of the kidney function such as going to the toilet frequently especially in the night, soreness and weakness of waist and knees and decrease of sexual desire. However the disease can not be determined by the only one single symptom. If you still have questions you can go to the hospital to make a further check. It can be sure that it is the deficiency of the kidney not the kidney function if the data of urine test, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine are all in the normal ranges.
Each normal person goes to the toilet four to six times in the day and no more than two times at night. If you are out of the range then it will be frequent micturition.
Usually, the deficiency of the kidney is the main cause of frequent micturition which is a result of the deficiency of qi and blood. The circle of the blood system may slow thus the vessels will shrink. Another reason is the lack of a particular vitamin-vitamin B2.
Another cause is getting too much “fire” in the liver. The reason is that you are suffering a low spirit, drinking too much alcohol, surfing on the internet too long and receiving too much pressure plus the environment change. The immune system will decrease in this situation. As a result people tend to get a cold easily.
The doctor suggested that illness can not be determined only by the urine. Some kidney failure patients may have little urine on the other hand. Building a healthy life and getting enough sleep is helpful to improve the kidney function.
