Hyperlipemia

Blood fat mainly refers to the cholesterol and triglyceride in the serum. No matter the increase of the cholesterol or the increase of triglyceride or the increase of both of them, all called hyperlipemia.

classification

According to the outcome of the measurement of serum total cholesterol, triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, hyperlipemia is divided into the following four types:

1. Hyoercholesteremia: The serum total cholesterol constant is increasing, and exceeds 5.2 mmol/L, but the constant of triglyceride is normal, which is to say the triglyceride is lower than 1.70mmol/L.

2. Hypertriglyceridemia: The content of serum triglyceride rises, and exceeds 1.70mmol/L, but the cholesterol content is normal, which means total cholesterol is lower than 5.2mmol/L.

3. Mixed type hyperlipemia: Both the contents of serum total cholesterol and triglyceride are increasing, which means the total cholesterol exceeds 5.2mmol/L and the triglyceride exceeds 1.7mmol/L .

4. Low or high-density lipoprotein mass formed by blood stasis: The content of serum high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) falls, which means it’s lower than 0.91mmol/L.

Pathogenesis

The pathogenesis of hyperlipidemia is mainly divided into two broad headings, which are primary hyperlipidemia and secondary hyperlipidemia.

Pathogenesis

1. Genetic factors. Inheritance can cause hyperlipidemia through multiple mechanism, some of them may occur in the cellular level. Hyperlipidemia mainly manifests the flaw of the cell surface lipoprotein receptor and the flaw of some enzymatic in the cells, such as the flaw and lack of lipoprotein lioase, it can also occur in lipoprotein or the molecules with apolipoprotein. It is mainly caused by gene defects.

2. Dietary factor. The effects of the dietary factors are relatively complex, hyperlipemia patients are closely related with dietary factors in a sizable proportion in hospital.

3. Lack of anion (negative oxygen ion) in the blood. The clinical trial shows : The regula red blood cells, colloid particle and so on are with negative charges, they are mutual repulsion and keep a certain distance. While the red cells that are lesion and aged are with positive charges because of the fight of the electron. Because the positive and negative attraction, thus making the red blood cells cohesion and clustering, and causes blood ropiness.

Secondary hyperlipidemia

Secondary hyperlipidemia is caused by other centre primary diseases, including diabetes mellitus, hepatopathy, thyroid disease, kidney disease, pancreas, obesity, glycogen accumulation disease, gout, Addison’s disease, cushing syndrome, abnormal globulin mass formed by blood stasis and so on.

1. Diabetes and hyperlipemia. Glycometabolism and fat metabolism are closely related in human bodies, clinical researches shows that about 40% of the diabetics can secondary cause hyperlipemia.

2. Hepatopathy and hyperlipemia. Modern medicine research data verified that many substances including lipid and lipoprotein and so on are processed, produced and resolved, excretoried in the liver. Once there is lesion of liver, the metabolism of lipid and lipoprotein must be turbulent.

3. Obesity and hyperlipemia. Local clinical medicine research data shows that obesity most easily causes the increase of the content of blood triglyceride secondary. Part of the patients can be increasing of the blood triglyceride firstly, which mainly manifests to be iv type hyperlipemia. Secondary is iib type hyperlipemia.
